Nudgely is a habit app. To nudge you at the right moment it has to know a little about your day. This policy explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, and how you stay in control of it.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and the time zone of your phone.
• Your habits: the habits you add, when you tick them, your streaks and the notes you write.
• Optional signals, only if you switch them on: calendar busy times (not the event titles), step count and sleep times from Apple Health or Health Connect.
• App diagnostics: crash reports and basic usage events, so we can fix bugs. These are not linked to your name.

How nudges use it

The AI planner looks at your habits, the times you usually tick them and, if you allow it, the gaps in your calendar and your usual sleep times. From that it picks the minute you are most likely to act and sends one notification. Every nudge shows the reason it was sent, and you can turn any signal off in Settings at any time.

What we never do

• We never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers.
• We never read the content of your calendar events, messages or photos.
• We never use your habits to train models for other companies.

Where it is stored

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, on servers in the European Union. A small number of trusted processors help us run the service (cloud hosting, email delivery, crash reporting); they may only use your data to provide that service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and habits while your account is open. Diagnostics are deleted after 90 days. If you delete your account, everything linked to it is erased within 30 days, including backups.

Your choices

• Download a copy of your data from Settings → Privacy → Export.
• Delete your account and all your data from Settings → Privacy → Delete account.
• Switch off calendar, steps or sleep access at any time, in the app or in your phone's settings.
• Ask us any question about your data by email; we reply within a working day.

Children

Nudgely is made for people aged 13 and over. The Family plan includes a kids mode that a parent sets up and manages; it does not use calendar, health signals or diagnostics.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
